Author instructions
CMT (registration & submission)
Latex template
- Submissions are required to use Springer format (https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines)
- Page limit: 12 pages, NOT INCLUDING REFERENCES. Acknowledgements section similarly does not count towards the 12p limit.
- Submissions that violate the format including tempering with white space (line spacing, \vspace, etc.) or exceeding page limit will be desk rejected.
- No supplementary materials are allowed.
- Please note IPMI does not have a rebuttal mechanism.
Anonymization
- The review process is double-blind. This means submitted papers must be anonymized, and failure to do so will result in desk rejection. Do not include author names or affiliations in the submitted pdf file. Remember to also check the Acknowledgments section, your data description (“data was collected at XYZ hospital”), and any other places where you may reveal your identity. Be mindful of how you refer to your own previously published papers, as well.
- You may wish to review MICCAI’s guide for anonymization: https://conferences.miccai.org/2024/files/downloads/MICCAI2024-Submitting-to-MICCAI-Avoiding-Desk-Reject.pdf
Dual submission policy
Submissions should describe original work that has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form. Furthermore, no other paper, which contains significant overlap with the contributions of this paper, should be under review at the time of submission or will be submitted during the IPMI 2025 review period. You can post your submitted version, the version before peer review, on arXiv.
Use of LLMs
- The use of LLMs (such as ChatGPT) is allowed for general-purpose writing/grammar assistance, e.g., for spelling or for grammar assistance at the sentence level. Using LLMs for generating large chunks of text (e.g., at the paragraph level or more) is not allowed, and papers that are mainly generated by LLMs will be rejected. Authors carry full responsibility for the contents of their papers, including any content generated by LLMs. LLMs are not eligible for authorship.
