Call for papers
We welcome submissions for Information Processing in Medical Imaging (IPMI 2025) to be held on the island of Kos, Greece, on May 25-30, 2025. The primary focus of IPMI is methodological advancements in medical imaging. IPMI has a rigorous review process and is renowned for its retreat-like atmosphere where each paper gets an in-depth discussion with emphasis on constructive criticism. IPMI is widely recognized as a premier international forum for the presentation of cutting-edge research in the medical image computing field, including the following topics:
- Biological imaging and digital pathology methods
- Computational anatomy and physiology
- Computer-aided diagnosis and treatment
- Fairness of machine learning in medical imaging
- Foundations of deep learning and their evaluation
- Functional, diffusion and molecular imaging methods
- Generative modelling
- Geometric learning and geometric deep learning
- Image acquisition and reconstruction
- Image information fusion and synthesis
- Image registration and segmentation
- Image synthesis
- Image-guided interventions and surgery
- Imaging genomics, imaging omics
- Inference and learning from uncertain, noisy, incomplete or limited data
- Interpretable, explainable, and causal learning
- Multidimensional, multimodality, multiscale imaging problems
- Novel deep learning methods for medical imaging
- Representation learning
- Statistical and computational modelling
- Statistical and mathematical foundations of imaging science
- Transfer learning, domain adaptation, and data harmonization
- Uncertainty modelling and quantification
- Visualization in medical imaging
We welcome papers of 12 pages (NOT INCLUDING REFERENCES) in Springer format (https://www.springer.com/gp/computer-science/lncs/conference-proceedings-guidelines). Submissions that violate the format including tempering with white space (line spacing, etc.) or exceeding page limit will be desk rejected. Submissions should describe original work that has not been previously published (or accepted for publication) in substantially similar form. Furthermore, no other paper, which contains significant overlap with the contributions of this paper, should be under review at the time of submission or will be submitted during the IPMI 2025 review period. The review process is double-blind.
