Presentation instructions

Oral

Each oral presentation will be 20 minutes in length, with approximately 25 minutes for questions. If you are new to IPMI, please note that, per IPMI tradition, each oral will be followed by a lively and extended Q&A session. For the sake of planning, we are allotting 45 minutes per talk (20min presentation + 25min Q&A), but please note it is not unusual for the discussion to go on significantly longer.

We recommend authors use a 16:9 aspect ratio for their slides.

Please note that there will be no posters for orals, given the extensive discussion after the oral presentation.

Poster

The maximum size for posters is 1.4m (W) x 1.0m (H). Please bring your printed posters, as it will not be possible to print them at the conference center.

We will have short teaser presentations for each poster. These are limited to 2 slides and 2 minutes max. These are meant to give poster-presenters an opportunity to attract more attendees to their poster.

Your two teaser slides must include the paper number, and be submitted in PDF or PowerPoint format by May 20 via email to: hao.li.1@vanderbilt.edu. Please use a 16:9 aspect ratio. All slides will be converted to a single PowerPoint slide deck, which will be presented in increasing number order. Time will be capped at exactly 2 minutes.
